PTSG Helps Keep Sportcity Fit And Healthy

Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has carried out a specialist electrical services project at the largest concentration of sporting venues in Europe.

Sportcity, which is less than two miles from Manchester city centre, features the City of Manchester Stadium, which is now home to Manchester City F.C. – one of the largest football stadiums in England.

The Manchester Velodrome is the base for British Cycling and the National Indoor BMX Arena was completed in 2011. SportCity is home to the National Squash Centre and the Manchester Regional Arena for athletics. Future developments will include Manchester City’s £50m training complex and a leisure complex.

Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd have completed repairs to the lightning protection system in place at the facility. PTSG is relied upon to test, inspect and maintain lightning and surge protection systems at buildings and structures of all kinds throughout the UK in sectors as diverse as healthcare, education, retail, aviation and defence, public sector and government and industry.
